Like Klaus, I found that I had to set the proxyPort to 443 and add scheme=”https”. This is like black magic. Sheesh.

Hi, If I have only one war running in tomcat and I do not want other sites to be routed by balancer, What is the best option? Should I follow above setup or should I remove nginx and run tomcat in https more?

ah, just got it: scheme=”https” did the job on the connector

Hm, for me that does not really work. I entered the proxyPort but when my java webapp tries to do a redirect, it does that to http://….:443/... instead of https://...

any idea?
